Sabbir Ahmad, PhD

Dr. Sabbir Ahmad received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Victoria, BC, Canada. As a dynamic business leader with extensive international experience, he has motivated and managed culturally diverse, cross-functional teams in highly competitive, fast-moving sectors, including telecom, power, and automation. Throughout his career, he has successfully delivered numerous projects across North America, Europe, and Asia, including Bangladesh.

Masum Hossain, PhD

Dr. Masum Hossain received his PhD in Electrical Engineering, specializing in IC design, from the University of Toronto, Canada. He has extensive industry experience in high-speed signaling, resulting in high-impact product delivery and 10 granted patents. Throughout his career, he developed SerDes products at Gennum (now Semtech) and led the clocking architecture for next-generation SerDes at Rambus. Dr. Hossain is also an Associate Professor at Carleton University, Canada, and continues to serve as a consultant for various SerDes IP providers.

Md. Hasanuzzaman, PhD

Dr. Md. Hasanuzzaman received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, Canada, focusing on analog IC design. His industrial background includes extensive experience in analog IC design and tape-out procedures within Canada, where he collaborated closely with key decision-makers at leading semiconductor design firms. Additionally, Dr. Hasanuzzaman has academic and instructional expertise, having taught courses and delivered specialized training in semiconductor design tools and methodologies at various universities.

Jahangir Hossain, PhD

Dr. Jahangir Hossain received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada. He is an innovator with extensive research and development experience across multiple cutting-edge domains, including wireless communications and machine learning. Dr. Hossain maintains a highly collaborative R&D network bridging industry and academia, actively fostering the next generation of technical capacity. He currently serves as a Professor at the University of British Columbia and previously worked for Intel Corporation in the USA.

Md. Mostofa Akbar, PhD

Dr. Mostofa Akbar received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Victoria, BC, Canada. His research and development focus includes network-on-chip, system-on-chip, and flash memory systems. Dr. Akbar has been actively involved in technology policy and planning at the national level, and he has provided extensive training and mentorship on various VLSI tools and designs. He also serves as a Professor at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Shahriar Akbar, PhD

Dr. Shahriar Akbar received his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, focusing on solid-state electronics, from the University of Texas at Austin, USA. His career includes more than two decades with the research and development division of Intel Corporation at its Oregon campus, where he served as a Senior Device Engineer. In this role, his primary focus was the development of next-generation, ultra-scale, high-performance microprocessors, contributing significantly to the deployment of 14 nm technology for mass production.
